Stuck on bathtub

Nearish to the end, there is a bathtub and one has to 'dive' into it. I've seen a walkthrough in which the guy just right clicks and first time it dives in. I've tried a ton of times over the last hour, reset game etc but nothing seems to be happening. It's like the animation for the start of the dive - then it won't work. Just stuck in this same room. Can someone help?
