If you’re running into trouble, we’re here to help. We recommend starting with the list below, as these steps will resolve most issues immediately.

1. Begin a new save:
   If the issue involves gameplay, it is usually a good idea to try a new save slot and see if the issue continues. If the issue doesn’t continue, then you’re good to go.
   
   Occasionally save files become corrupted, and unfortunately, we’re unable to recover them.
   
   
2. Verify your game files:
   1. Open Steam
   2. Click on the Library Tab
   3. Right Click on [GAME NAME], and select Properties
   4. Click Local Files
   5. Click Verify Integrity of Game Files
   
   
3. (MAC only)
   Perform First Aid on your hard drive:
   1. Go to Applications/Utilities
   2. Open the Disk Utility app.
   3. Select your Hard Drive, then First Aid from the top of the menu.
   4. Once that finishes, restart your Mac.
   
   
4. Login and out of your Steam account:
   Log out and log back into your Steam account.
   
   
5. Restart Your Computer

6. Restart Your Router
   Often download issues can be resolved by re-establishing your internet connection.
