i don't think anything can beat that.

My sister and I are playing through this together online (she's in Japan; I'm in the US), and we're having a lot of fun with it.

In 2025 it still looks very solid graphically and, while I see there are a lot of folks who aren't happy with its departure from DS 1&2 gameplay-wise, we didn't play those...so it wasn't a factor for us. It plays a lot like Dark Alliance 1 & 2, but with a bit more story -- which is EXACTLY what we were looking for in a game (we played Dark Alliance 2 to completion when she was in-town last).

We had originally bought this on GOG, but the online play does NOT work there -- this goes through Steam and works wonderfully...even the in-game voice chat works flawlessly.
