Here is the proof. Minute 32 of the video aproximately.
Yes, on PS1 was much more easy. But the items you can get in this exibition you can get further ahead in the game. Force Stealer (if you get 100 points or more, you get this weapon) you can buy it in North Corel on all disks for i think 2000gil or you can find it in Junon before geting the Highwind.
000 points or better - Silver Glasses (Can be bought for 3000 gil at Junon and Gongaga)
060 points or better - HP Plus Materia (Can be bought at Cosmo Canyon and Mideel for 50000gil)
100 points or better - Force Stealer (Can be bought at North Corel for around 2000gil or can be found at Junon before geting the Highwind)
The trick is to make your computer run very slow.
For example open a bunch of 4K video streams on youtube. Then you can set the CPU-priority for FF7.exe down a bit:
Press CTRL+ALT+DELETE and then select the "Details"-tab. From there you can right-click on ff7.exe and set it's priority to "LOW". You can also select your browser and set it to "VERY HIGH" / REALTIME priority.
When you have enough youtube-streams running on your computer,
it should lag alot and the game should barely run or run very slowly,
thus making it possible for you to react. :)
I hope this will be to any help, at least it worked for me.
