[Bug] Can't climb ladder. Mako Reactor

Simply, I've set off the reactor and got the timer. I climbed 3 of the 4 ladders to get to Jessie, and freed his leg from the beam it was stuck in. However, after facing the 4th ladder (the first one you encounter), and pressing my OK button, Cloud won't jump onto it and to climb up.

Does anyone know who to get around this?

I'm having the same problem and I don't know of a way to fix it

This is a really old bug report, and actually isn't much of a bug. If I'm not mistaken, I figured it out by simply going a little bit further up, or closer to the ladder. As the ladder seems to have a very small interaction field.

Yeah, not a bug. One of those things i always find peculiar people have issues with, but if you've never played the game before, there are a few nuances like this that can be tricky to traverse.

This is off the top of my head, but i think you either need to try going up the screen a bit for the trigger point, or that it is actually triggered by movement rather than a button press?

Either way you should be able to do it by mashing confirm and walking around.
