You can kill every weapon with this setup. Just equip 1 guy with w-Summon and KotR and let the other partymember mime this. If you want to be really safe equip the materia that does something if you got attacked by melee or spellcast (forgot the name sorry) and link it with mime's. Also Regena is extremlly useful.
Sidenote: Regena heals the more HP you have. Even if you get above 9999 HP regena still scales with it. So if you equip like 8 HP plus it heals a ton of life.
I did the same and did every weapon at first try. Make sure you have the underwater materia for smaragd because KofR animation takes forevery with all that mime. If you have any other questions you can add me if you want ;)

Remember the trick for Emerald: Aire-Tam Storm does 1,111 damage equal to the number of Materia you have equipped. You actually want as little materia as possible. Have KotR-HP Absorb, W-Summon, Final Attack-Phoenix and Mime-Counter on the same person. Have a second person equipped with Mime-Counter if you can (not necessary, but helps), and the third person should have two HP Plus to put them at 9,999 HP; enough so that Aire Tam Storm can potentially leave them in Lucky 7's.
Having Revive with Final Attack is preferred over Phoenix for fighting Ruby. Ruby is invincible as long as two or more are alive so having Phoenix trigger would waste time. For Emerald Phoenix is preferred, but Phoenix ruins the strategy for fighting Ruby.
