Cid Limit 2 bug

I don't know if devs monitor this forum, but I figure if nothing else it can act as a warning. The game often crashes when using Cid's Limit 2, Hyper Jump. It's happened to me on 3 bosses now.

Right when the explosion animation happens, the game will freeze but the music will continue. A message will pop up that says "an unexpected error has occured" and when you hit OK, it closes the game.

It keeps happening too. I believe it has to do with him Marking the boss for Death, when it shouldn't be eligable. Will have to avoid using his Limit 2 for boss fights.

yeah, it happened to me when I was fighting the diamond weapon in Mideel

I did not find such bug, but again I only used Hyper Jump for the necessary number of times to unlock Limit 2-2. Do you have any mods installed? Did your game crash for another reason too?

No and no. No mods installed and 100% of my crashes have been from this particular limit break.

Well, just use it to unlock Limit 2-2 (saving between uses) and just forget about it, unfortunately.

thanks for the heads up i played the old PC versions and never encountered this even though i save frequent doesnt hurt to know

Got this today, can confirm it's very buggy, not worth the risk in using

i just crashed twice because of it. i guess it never been fixed ! oh well.. i wont use it on boss thanks for the advice !

Same issue, same circumstances... 2022... Only seems to happen using this particular limit break in boss battles.

I confirm this. I thought that it was my mods but when you guys say that, well it's still there. It happens when you use that limit break after another limit break I think

Been having the same trouble but not even during boss battles. Literally against random enemies in ancient forest. This is infuriating.
