Port Final Fantasy Tactics
We all practically know that FF8 will be coming to Steam (knocks on wood), and hope that FF9 will get some port love. But what we should all really wish for is Final Fantasy Tactics to make its way to PC. It never received PC love, but man it was one hell of a game. FFT: War of the Lions (an enhanced version of the original game) has been released on multiple platforms as well. I'd be fine with either version. What do you guys think?

I never liked FFT myself but I'd see it as a nice chance to try it again. It was a very decent game but I failed at it. But I think there are as many chances to see it on PC as there are to see FF9. Which means almost none...

I wouldn't be so sure of that. They have ported the game to Crapintosh OS platforms. I would think porting it to Windows PC would be easy as cake, and a nice money maker for them to boot. I would at least say its chances of a port to PC are far greater than FF9's.

Hmm, seen that way. I agree... I, for one, would most likely buy it for sure so it's already $10 in for them if they take it to PC.
I would pay 10 for FFT.

However I wouldn't even pay a dollar if I had to sign up for some wierd SE account and deal with their borked clouds.

I mean, I just disabled cloud saving for FF7 and used my FB to make an account quick and easy. I would think it would probably be the same way for any of their future releases.

If they fixed the lag between sound and the actual effects in a War of the Lions for a PC release, I'd pay 60 USD for it.
I'd buy it. FFT was the most engaging Final Fantasy game for me. I loved the story, I loved Ivalice, and the combat system.ughhh thanks god for Tactics Ogre!:ketta:

I would sooner be buying FFT than FFVIII thats for sure.
I would love to see FFTA2.

Nah. As great as FFTA and FFTA2 were, they were GBA/DS unique games. No way in hell we will get them on PC. And before you get onto it, yes I know about RER's port from the 3DS but still... It's more unlikely than seeing FF9 on PC and that's unlikely enough already.

Oh I won't deny seeing FFTA/2 is so unlikely but a guy can dream.

I really would love FFT to get some good PC port attention. I'm a huge fan of the multiplayer experience and think they could easily expand on that thought. :)FFT is easily worth $15-20 to me. I wish they'd start a kick starter towards production of it. I think it would be a great way to get the ball rolling on something a lot of us want, in my opinion.

Sad that the only way you can play FFT on a PC is through an emulator...
