Report a translation problem
So since the main point of VMware is to share files between your mac and pc, the problem lies withing vmware itself.
you need to drag your mouse to the top of your screen to drop the vmware menu (like you would to send for the ctrl alt delete) and click on the virtual machine tab. Go all the way down to sharing and unclick your documents folder and in my case, the actual FF installer!
It's so obvious now it seems kind of sad, lol. But yeah, it works fine now!
