Weapons and hidden island are missing

Hey guys i dont know if any of you guys have this problem, but in my game i cant find Ruby or Ultima weapon (the one that flies, cant remember which weapon he is) i still have emarld which i killed. but the other two are no where to be found, also the hidden island at the corner of the map is missing in my game. i have done so much already putting almost 40 hours of game play into this game mastering all the materia and getting everyones final limit (even Aeriths) so if anyone is having trouble or know how to fix it please let me know. Thanks guys.

Ultimate Weapon will appear in the giant crater outside of Junon as soon as you defeat Diamond Weapon at the end of Disc 2 (or Part 2 in this release's case). Once you fight him, he will run away after a few turns and you'll have to locate and chase him around the world in the Highwind. Crash into him four times, then he'll fly to a city and attempt to destroy it (if he succeeds, instant game over); at this point you're allowed to reengage him. He will not attack a city and will fly around the world at random until you crash into him enough. Do this until he's down to about 20k health in which he'll wait for you near Cosmo Canyon to finish him off.

Ruby Weapon will appear as soon as Ultimate Weapon is destroyed. He will be in the sands next to the Gold Saucer. Crash the Highwind into his face to fight him.

Concerning the hidden island, I assume you're referring to Round Island, the location of Knights of Round. It's still in the northeastern corner of the map, but not at the absolute corner. It's about straight north from Goblin Island and a few paces southwest from the actual corner of the map.

I fought Ultima weapon with tifa as lead then he just disappeared (i was level 60 by that time) also with Ruby there is literally no little red guy there, its just empty sand. i got my chocobo and ran around thinking it might be a pixel glitch but i didnt run into anything. im at disc 3 ive gone in the crater and gotten all the materia and items there. i left and nothing there. ive flown around the entire map looking for ultima but hes no where to be found at all. also the hidden island is still missing

thing is when you fight Ultima weapon he usually can be found almost immediately after the battle. After the Mideel battle i cant find him flying anywhere

I ran into this issue as well. Fly the world over and you will eventually find him.

Ruby Weapon does not appear until Ultimate Weapon is defeated. Defeating Ultimate Weapon is the flag for that.

And no, the island isn't missing, it's just not at the very corner of the map:

I must be retarded, i could have sworn in the psx version Ruby weapon was always there. GOD THIS IS SO FUSTRATING...WHERE THE ♥♥♥♥ IS THIS ULTIMA WEAPON!!!! lol sorry im going into rage mode right now.

I love you right now man, i finally found Ultima weapon flying.....over the middle of the ocean lol no where near land. ok Everything should be good. sorry for the annoyence guys. thanks for prooving me wrong

What I did, I went to a corner of the map, angled myself about 30 degrees or so, and just flew in a straight line. Fortunately the world isn't a perfect sphere so flying slightly off-center allows you to spiral around the map and cover the most ground possible. Just mash the throttle and you should find him eventually.

If not, I made a backup save just before I engaged him the first time, I don't know if you did, but that would be my recommendation is to load from an older save and start over.

so i killed Emerald, and Ultima weapons, but still no Ruby. Is there still something else i need to do? or does he come over time?

for me to find Ruby i had to beat Ultima weapon. turn off the game and then turn it back on (after saving it) and found Ruby sitting in his little sand box

Regardless of what people are telling you, I suggest going to Red XIII's canyon, when I played on PSX, that is ALWAYS where he hovered. (He being Ultima)

He will be there when he reaches 20k health remaining. If you're not strong enough to pull that in one shot you'll have to chase it around the world.
