If it is L1 + R1, I don't know when to press it then.
At first i thought i had to time R1+R2 when the race started.
(Hey; at least this time they actually implemented a frame limiter...)
One thing I noticed is you can tell if it's going to be a fast or normal speed race while in the initial race entry screen. If your chocobo appears to be running very fast, it will be a normal speed race; if your chocobo appears to be trotting more slowly, it will be a super fast race. Makes no sense, I know.
Simply, register to race and while looking at the chocobo stats screen(where you can see your chocobo jogging and the speed and stamina) alt+tab out of the game then move a window by clicking and dragging then when you return to the game you should see your jogging chocobo is now going berserk. The race will now run at super speed when you start it.
This will greatly reduce the time it takes to train up all those chocobo's for breeding.
