Save point in Golden Saucer broken?

It took my 5 GP, and didn't save. Boo. I also presumed it had saved since it took my money, and shut the game off. I hadnt saved since start of the train tracks. Really sucked. Be careful if you use that save point.

I have found save points in the PC version a little buggy i.e. if you touch the save point and access the menu too quickly, it sometimes thinks you are not stood there (the Save feature is greyed out).

This would obviously mean the game isn't saved though, as you can't access the feature.

If you had a different issue then...

I always save 5GP and head outside coral to save. Nothing to do with the glitch.

You still need to actually save the game yourself after it takes your 5GP, it doesn't do it automatically.

That was my mistake.
