Go to settings and general settings, then at the top make sure your FF7 Exe points to where your FF7 STEAM installation is. For example mine is:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FINAL FANTASY VII\ff7_en.exe
Then my Library is:
C:\Users\me\OneDrive\Documents\7th Heaven
It sounds like your two paths aren't matching up with your true paths. For me it just matched them up automatically after I installed FF7 then installed 7th Heaven.
And I managed to solve it somehow after reinstalling the game again (and when the verifying didn't help)
But now ... Now it gives me that "Yuffie error message" saying that I should verify the game data again or install again from CD D;
The error is below the part where it checks the compatibility, though.
Didn't have issues with 7H around 2 years ago and then it stopped working after a year and again now (even with the newest stuff of all of the program + updated mods).
I really don't get it.
I hope their Discord server might be able to know what else I could try so I don't get the Yuffie error :(
I hope you figure(d) your issues out, though, guys and can enjoy the game now! ;)
This is now DRM. The previous version you do not need this
C:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\FINAL FANTASY VII\ff7_en.exe
The previous version you can choose which SSD or SD card as portable. No need to connect Steam.
