SYW Mod Field Textures Not Working?

Hey, guys. I'm trying to do a playthrough of FFVII with the SYW AI upscale mod loaded. I'm running 7th Heaven v2.9.9.64 with the steam version of the game.

I have all of the SYW texture mods downloaded and installed, with only the ninostyle battle and field models on top of that. All of the SYW texture mods were downloaded from the 7th heaven Tsunamods catalog.

All of the SYW textures appear to work, except for the field textures. They're a terrible pixelated mess. I'm on a 4k monitor, so this is really distracting.

My google-foo has failed me -- I can't seem to find anyone with the same issue. Any ideas?



Here's my mod load order:



[Tsunamods] SYW V6 FMV (60 FPS)

Ninostyle Battle

[Tsunamods] SYW V5 Battle Textures

Ninostyle HD

[Tsunamods] SYW V5 Field Textures

[Tsunamods] SYW V5 Minigame Textures

[Tsunamods] SYW V5 Spell Textures

[Tsunamods] SYW V5 Menu and Fonts

[Tsunamods] SYW V5 Worldmap Textures



Once again, everything in the above list works perfectly except for the field textures...Which, arguably are the most important part of the mod.

Hi I have the same problem. Found any solution?

Try disabling the NINO stuff and menu fonts as I am currently using all those mods except those and am having 0 problems getting everything to work.

Yup. They werent actually fully installed -- the UI is just terrible. It downloads and then unpacks them, but the unpacking step takes forever and not all of it appears on the UI. Clear your install and then start a download and leave it alone for an hour or two before activating it to be 100% sure. Figured that out chatting with the creator.

Nah, it was a mix of user error and bad UI design. The unpacking step isnt as visual as it could be, and it allows you to set the mods active before the unpacking is finished, so the mods werent actually done installing.
