Can't start don corneo mission

I go to the door at don corneos and aeris wont come out and say i should dress up and stuff.

guys i knbow what to do. the issue is that aeris is not initiating when i get to the mansion;

You're doing something wrong, so your knowledge is clearly not quite what you may think.

I would recommend a guide.

Have you obtained all the items you need to dress up as a girl yet?
1. The Dress from the shop with the grumpy old lady and shopkeeper.
2. The Tiara from that guy who wants you to buy something for him from the vending machine.
3. The Wig from the squat minigame at the gym.
4. The something i completely forgot from the honeybee club.

i got all that along with the bikini underwear and the whatever from the guy in the bathroom at the bar. i know what im doing. ive beat the game 1000 times. its the game im having an issue with

I definately think it's the game having issues with you, not fulfilling the criteria needed to progress.

Are you actually dressed in the gear when you try and get in, like the first person asked?

You have arraived the Wall Market.
You have talked to the old guy in front of the Honeybee Inn and asked for Tifa to start the quest.
You are gone to Don Corneo's place and have talked to the guy in front of the door.
And that's were are you stuck now, rigth?

When you go to the Don's mansion talk to the guard at the door that will make Aeris come out and start the mission the gather the descise for Cloud.

okay let me walk you guys through it (since i guess you guys are like pro ffvii players, and im a noob) i go into the city. direct right to the honeybee inn. talk to the guy at the door. tifa is our newest girl...blah blah blah. go up to corneos mansion, talk to the guy, i have a cute friend... blah blah blah. go to dress shop > bar > dress shop. "its missing something... a wig". go to gym. squat competition (which i won), got wig. Go to eat > Pharmacy > Digestive > guy in bathroom. Go to guy who wants something in INN vending machine > Get tiara. go to honeybee in and went to the #@!& room and got lingerie. After getting all this i return to the dress shop and get changed. i then go to corneos mansion and go to the guy (at which point aeris should exit me and the guy should say, damn your friend's hot too.) and nothing happens. so oh experts in FFVII, is there something you see in your vast knowledge that i'm missing?

Hit the button to talk to the guy so that the scene will play out.

No, it looks like that a variable isn't properly written (variable [3][162] from 1 to 2). As long the variable isn't 2, the guy will not let him in. The variable had actually be set to 2 when Cloud had changed his dress.
