proud clod glitch?

I'm fighting proud clod right now and it freezes every time I use Cid's hyperjump on it. This has happened like three times in a row so it's not just random. Is there a patch available?

No and never will be done by Square (or the port team). There is a memory overflow problem.
The only solution is to downgrade the game and use the newest custom openGL driver made by Aali. It fixes a lot of problems, not only the memory overflow.

There is another alternative...don't use Cid's limit break.

yah i ended up just using a different character. the glitch still kinda sucks though. there's other glitches that i won't even go into - yuffie's limit breaks for one. but the game wasn't very expensive on here so it's alright.

oh crap i'm a complete idiot, there isn't a glitch with Yuffie's limit break, i was just too stupid to know how to get clear tranquil and got landscaper first.
