Remake and Advent Children Models

How close do you think they will be? Do you all think the remake models will be quite similar with some tweaks or will they be completely different that AD?

The director said the game will take some influence from Advent Children in regards to character models, music and enviroments.

From what i could tell in the trailer Cloud and Barret looked the same as the AC models. The narrator in the trailer i can only assume is Sephiroth, in which case it sounds like the same voice actor as Sephiroth's in AC.

I said assume, not is. The voices are practically identical.

I totally agree it wouldn't make any sense, that was my first thought.
But nothing alike, i can't agree. They're quite alike, maybe not totally and that could be because of the different voice actors.
Just judging the voice, not basing it on whether it makes sense or not, out of any FF7 character i can only link it with Sephiroth.

Would be cool if it was Sephiroth! And besides, I'd be glad if they changed Sephiroth's voice actor, I wasn't keen on his voice in Advent Children.

I heard they will use the same model for Cloud, dunno about the others. Barret was a bit racist.

I don't think Barrets model has much to do with his personality. Well, ok it does a bit. They'll probably tone him down a bit in that regard.
I'm curious as to what will come of Tifa's model. In AC her hair is shoulder blade length rather than her usually really long dolphin tail hair because it was apparently too difficult to animate.

I wonder another thing about Tifa's model XD
