How to fix :o faces?

There were couple of other threads about it, but this bug just pisses me off. How to fix these :O faces that every NPC got? As far as I know, it's been around Steam version ever since 2013, and never been fixed. Any solutions to this? Can't take the game seriously with these goofy faces.

All NPCs, alongside with minor characters, always have unchanging surprised expression on their faces. Original graphics mode doesn't fixes that

7th Heaven mod has a fix for this.

Just google 7th heaven mod FF7. Its a simple installer with an easy to use UI to pick and choose all types of mods from gameplay changes to graphical updates.

There is a mod that changes their mouths.

Thanks, though, it seems to not work for me. With antivirus turned on, after pressing the 'play' button, 7th Heaven aborts the lauch and pops up the next error: "Unknown error when launching the game: Access to the path 'D:\Steam\steamapps\common\FINAL FANTASY VII\dinput.dll' is denied." With no antivirus, it infinitely attempts to inject mod with AppLoader (Running 7th Heaven as an administrator doesn't helps in both cases)
How do I fix this?

Its not a bug.

Its an addition that the old PC port added but the PS1 never had.

But yeah, modding lets you remove it.

Look for answers on qhimm forums. I am a noob at all this modding stuff.

UPD: 7th Heaven not only doesn't launch the game, but also seems to screw up my ff7_en.exe file, so even vanilla game from Steam doesn't start. After I reinstall the game, 7th Heaven doesn't work. It requires a really precised install, as I see.

That is odd, the rest of us are not having that issue, but i am not sure what to suggest.

How long does it takes for mod to install anyway? I've been waiting for the game to launch for around 15 minutes after it froze on "Attempting to inject with AppLoader", is it usually fast to install?
