Is there a mod to bring back Aeris?

There isn't a mod to bring her back. You could try google but the only way I've heard of was via hacks or using a gameshark for the PS1.

Ah I heard this game had a modding community and even though it's cheating I'd like to keep her past disc 1 cause she's a decent white mage

There is 1 form for play with aeris, you no need more than original game.

i found this video, and this works:

The only inconvenience is you lose " morpho", "bahamut cero" and some more, but you will be able to play with aeris till end game in your team.

i just found it, and i played to see if it works and it works, seems developers opened this secret door for that sucess.

About game crash, it does but it only happens sometimes in 2 or 3 locations during scripted events or it cant happen in any event also.

i posted that for people who want revive aeris and for show people exist a real form of allowing aeris in your team alive.

we all know about that false histories of kill emerald weapon without subacuatic materia, or giving items to person in kalm in a correct order..... omg!!

Really this "bug" works for nostalgic people, but you must have 2 saved games and in second saved games you must not have yuffie and win her with aerolito limit. so simple and strong hint : ))


Ps: use mods/gameshark/hacks for try revive aeris is not a good idea for for play game. I hate that in any game. If you really love game and its history you must respect it, have fun you all in best game ever developed called " final fantasy 7"!!

The New Threat mod also has her come back to life as part of a quest chain, and makes the game harder. And fills it with surprises.

I love ff7, but without that mod, the game would be too easy to play thrugh again.

You can always just use Yuffie warping. It's a very simple glitch in the PC version of the game. No modding required.

actualy there is a mod for 7th heaven 2.0 where you can save aeris. jenova will cast after life on aeris which will cause aeris to battle your team. you will need to cast silence on aeris as her magic attack are bruttle. this will limit her to phisical attacks. if you kill aeris she's out of the game. if you kill the boss without killing aeris you keep her. she will have in game siens and dialoge but will not be in the fmgs. you will however loose the ribbon you would get from her death.

There's a couple different mods to get her back.
Although admittedly, she's kind of OP to begin with, and with a party past level 45 - 65, gradually if you keep grinding your party to higher levels, Aerith/Aeris just becomes kind of redundant as far as combat gameplay goes.
MOST combat scenarios in the game between levels 45 and 65 tend to cap out around that time in terms of how challenging they can be.
Save of course for the optional weapon fights, Emerald and Ruby in that level range will still be a challenge, and perhaps what's available at the Battle Square in the Gold Saucer, depending on what materia, equipment, limits and items you've got available to you at around that time.
Otherwise though? Main game? At level 65 and up you should be able to blow through most things with relative ease. The biggest potential challenges being like a Tonberry King, Sephiroth at the end, and that one time you forgot to give Magic Pot an elixir before you attacked it. xD

Dunno about mods but once me and my friend used a cheat cartrage to add Sephiroth and Aerith to our party, back in the old PS1 day's of course.

Sephiroth was uncontrollable naturally but Aerith.. she was "interesting"

For some reason the cheat caused a bug that when moving Aerith's position around in the party she would duplicate herself onto the other characters somehow.

This lead to massive WTF hilarity moments, probably the most entertaining of all was watching Aerith, giant sword in hand performing an Omnislash.

OP is asking about Aeris. Not Aerith.

Totally different characters in alternate universes. Aerith should have a goatee.
