Can't go below deck in the ship on it's way to costa del sol.

This is am embarassing problem that I can't seem to google an answer for. I lost the way back down to the cargo hold of the ship, but I found out I need to go down there to talk to Aeris before I'm able to progress.

I spent a lot of time running around pressing on everything I ran into, but no luck. Can someone please help me by describing where the entrance is?

is this what you're refering to? top-right of the screen is a weird vent-looking thing. just head inside that (see video)

Press select and it should show a cursor above your head and arrows on all of the doors you can walk through

Thank you guys SO much! It's a silly problem but it made the game unplayable. You all fixed everything!! I don't think I can thank you enough.
