7th heaven to Steam save progress

Hi!

Almost beat the game with 7th heaven mod launcher but noticed that when I use steam/square launcher to play the game there is no save (only using the vanilla launcher).

Already tried copying my 7th heaven save file to the main folder of FFVII

C:\Users\name\OneDrive\Documents\Square Enix\FINAL FANTASY VII Steam\user_xxxxxx

When I start the game the save file dissapears. Is it impossible to simply carry over 7th heaven save progress to vanilla launcher gamplay?

Did you enable "Steam Compatibility" in FFNx's "Advanced" settings tab AND "cloud saves" in Steam's client? Worked for me just fine, and I've been playing the game for a week by now.

I was able to do it couple weeks back, took me a pair of tries
There was a "bait" save folder that does nothing
My paths below, look for similar

C:\Games\Final Fantasy VII\save
C:\Users\XXXXXX\Documents\SQUARE ENIX\FINAL FANTASY VII Steam\user_XXXXX\save
