this how i fell and opinion on ff7 remake.. hate it or agree.. its up to you

Honestly.. if we was just going to have the same old story but with better graphics and combat i would of named this game my own worst game of the year.. because i already know the story and people who havent got no excuse to go buy it cheap on steam and play it there.. i love there going to be a new approach to the ff7 new time line because it gives more of a mystery on whats going to happen next... i dont get why people are so scared of change? i mean we can direct people t to the old ff7 to play, i would of thought more people be happy to see a slight difference in the time line so we can have more fun and the possibility.. but nOOOOOOPE like always people complain and cry because " its not like the original it going to blah blah with this and blah blah with that"..this might just be me talking out my ass, but im for 100% agree with this new direction.. if people dont like it.. dont play it SIMPLE.. if you want your old story go back and play the ps1 game on steam.. for me and maybe a few people who likes this change will go on and enjoy whats to come.

thats fair but you could also playing the other parts of ff7 remake and think of is as a "what if" game

I could have sworn that in the remake you blew a reactor, then went to the slums, then went to blew another reactor, then cloud falls in the church, meets Aerith, goes to Don Corneo, sewers, train graveyard, sector 7 plate falls, go to shinra building and in the end they just get out of Midgar. Pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ identical to the original if you ask me.

Remake is basically the same reboot type of story as JJ Abram’s Star Trek, where it sets itself in-universe as a separate timeline while the original still exists in its own.

The dementor things are trying to keep events in Remake going the same as the original game. In the end, Cloud and team decide screw predeterminism and kill the Harbinger of Fate freeing the story to be as different as Nomura or whoever wants it to be going forward.

It’s also shown that Zack is now alive in what is presumed to be another timeline. Which means whatever story Nomura is planning, it likely involves multiverse shenanigans.

I still plan to play the new games and see what they do. I’m still curious. I just don’t have much hope for the content which is either completely new or drastically changed, as the story changes and new content they’ve made thus far are the weakest points.

For you people the Remake is garbage and it will still get two more parts, so your first point is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dumb.
The characters are the same, except that now they actually feel alive, it's not like Biggs Wedge and Jessie in the original where their deaths means nothing because they have no character. Not even Barret is saddened by their deaths.
If you're gonna play the Remake hoping it will be the same piece of garbage that was the original game then don't bother, Remake's part 1 in Midgar feels way more alive than the whole OG game. You purists should really just keep sucking on the ♥♥♥♥ of tha PS1 game and mod the ♥♥♥♥ out of it so it is a little better to look at than the original LEGO graphics.
