speed up?
How can you make this game speed up? I look around, and most of the suggestions are for emulators

The Steam version doesn't come bundled with any speed up function. The mods Reunion[ff7.live] and 7th Heaven have it.

dunno about reunion but the 7H speed up is nothing like 3x speed OP is probably looking for. there's a speed up for ATB fill, but no general speedup of the game as such. but there's other cheats, such as auto combat (always attacks) or no combat free roam, so 7H is the way to play pc steam ff7. with all the added qol/upscales etc. 60fps combat cheff's kiss.

Yeah I kinda dont need that. If I did, I would use wemod for no waiting, and unlimited limit break, along with everything else. The reason ask is GF is playing it and is looking for anything to speed up the gameplay.

Cheat Engine has a speedhack and you don't need to know much about how to use Cheat Engine to work it.

Cheat engine can let you hotkey speed hacks to whatever specifics you want. A key for 2x 3x 5x etc. Very intuitive part of using it.

It's a single player game so no risk of being banned. Btw, afaik Cheat Engine forces you to install spyware/adware if you use the installer from their website. I'd look for a 'pre-installed' zip version if I where you. I actually tried to post a link to one but Steam keeps removing it so eff it, haha.
