this game use a separate saving system.

all the other FF's have built in steam cloud saving, but FF7 has a weird square enix log in system which you have to manually enable separate cloud saving from both pc and steam deck side. it works fine thankfully, but it's time to release a remastered FF7. no, not the remake.

Not unreasonably hard. You have to know how to work with bottles, and tweak flatpak permissions, and manage symlinks.

It may remind you of Moguri but I can assure you people have been working on FF7 mods far longer than Moguri so expect to find much higher quality mods like the "[Tsunamods]" upscales.
