Save Crystal won't work?

I'm in the Northern Cave right now and trying to use the save crystal right after I talk to the whole party post-split and I can't use the crystal? I'm really starting to stress out because I already got a game over the other day about halfway through the cave and I would really rather not redo this from the beginning again.

Havent played it on steam yet however, on the old ps1 version you couldnt activate the crystal after you had decided on the crew who was going to go fight the last 3 bosses.

Basically use it right before you get to the screen where they are all stood there and you get items from the other paths etc

Yea I thought that might've been the issue. I got a game over last night but I'm going to try that next time I give it a go and hopefully it'll work.

i personally got from the entrance of the last dungeon to the last boss and defeated it without getting killed.

Well I'm sorry that not all of us are hardcore gamers with godly instincts or reflexes. I love gaming but believe it or not there are people who need help with these kinds of things.
