In 3 days I doubt you "beat" FF7. You may have completed the storyline and gotton your team to a decent level, even gotton some powerful materia and gear, yet to beat the game entirely, thats at least 70-80 hours and then just if you know what your doing.

I beat the game in three real life days. It came out to 30 hours.

If you know what you are doing it won't take more than 50.
hes right. i could spend another 8 hours and this game would be 100 percent complete.

Love the quotation marks on beat. like beat is subjective.

Well, I was in the "I can see all the story in 3 days" camp not the "lets do everything this game has to offer" camp. I had three days off, I beat Sephiroth. I'm happy but sad. I put ff7 on my phone, already have it on my PSP and PS3 so now I know I can beat it over a crunch weekend when I want to. This makes me happy. I'll 100% this ♥♥♥♥ again later. Only so much fun to be had from grinding to fight 2 fights.
Don't forget the 7777 health trick as well. Makes emerald pretty easy. Not ruby though. Ruby is a douchebag.

Yea. I wasent trying to flail on you or nothing. Thats the right frame of mind IMO for a game like this. You can actually beat it in 12 hours really, as I said, only that way good luck seeing more than an 8th of the game. Not sure I believe Shira about the 50 hours thing. Seems a bit lean to me, considering limit breaks, ultimate weapons and getting AND mastering all the best materia. Yes the northern cave is awesome for power leveling materia if you fight the right enemies...yet fighting the toughest enemies in the game at level 60? No man, got to be full 99 for them fights, makes the bosses 99 as well. and what that measn is you beat them, at their peak. [done that wore the t-shirt]

Does the game level with you? I felt like the last boss was super easy with ultima. Beat Sephi with two summons of KotR though on second form. He didn't stand a chance. Rest of the game was a pure struggle though. I ONLY leveled in an area I was in and even then I pushed forward as much as I could. I wanted to see the main story dialogue so I missed out on Yuppie but I did have her in my crew. I had a blast. I can't wait to play this game again and cry at all the good parts. I love this game.

Played this instead of all my backlogs like Fallout 4 and Xcom 2 and didn't regret more than 20 mins of it (anyone else beat the first 20 minutes 100 times but the actual game 3 times?).

You never played seriously this game if you are saying this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, you can easilly crush Northern Cave with +50, same for rest of enemies excluding Ruby and Emerald which safe level will be around 65/75. 99 is just for show. You can max (or at least increase to serious amount if you lazy) stats before it, you can max hp and damage before it too.

Limits breaks can be grinded easilly by using cavern near Fort Condor (there are 4 or 5 (not sure) enemies every fight. HP-MP materia + fury status and lb bar goes fast as well. There is fast legit way for everything in this game (excluding Ruby Weapon, he is not hard but he will always require good strat and time unlike Emerald which has plenty 1 click rekt strats) but you need to know what you are doing otherwise you will be ''mastering'' this game 200 hours via pointless actions.

Actually, the amount of hours I have played this game do not even bare thinking about. I have totally mastered EVERYTHING in FF7 on at least 3 different occasions, completed the game somewhere between 15 and 20 times and probably know as much if not MORE about this game than anyone, anywhere, anywhen. I am not bragging here. If you knew anything about me you would understand. People who know me, will tell you I used to be so obsessed with THIS game that it's scary and probably a bit messed up. People who know me, and you plainly don't, would tell you I am a FF7 nerd, and probably one of the most nerdiest FF7 nerds around.

Oh, you can actually beat the big nasty weapons around the 50th level or so. 50-60 You can beat them with the right set up and the right materias. [and maybe a bit of luck against Ruby] My point was though, that its more rewarding to beat them at the max level. Because you fight them at their best then.

What am I looking at here? It's a picture with Barret and an Enemy Skill materia. Is this hard for people to get at level 15? I don't know.

The enemy skill materia absorbs skills from enemies so you can later use that same skill, beta, the skill that he has, is only obtainable from a Midgar Zolom which is very difficult at that level.

I know what enemy skill materia is but the significance of having beta was lost on me. I'm a thrine man, myself.

Enemies in FF VII are not scaling with your level so at 99 you are fighting with them at your best, not theirs.

So beating the game at level 50 is boss then. Yay.

just go try to do it, go kill midgar zolom and cross that lake on foot like a man. that way you will see beating the game "fast" is not even a thing

also, it's not about using the Beta, i don't even use "strong" powers or summons when i play. It's about personal achievment and swagity purposes. also, using Beta on your way at that level is pretty OP against everything that doesn't resist fire, and it would let you do an actually very good rush just using it. you can only compare it to thrine if you get the Beta later when you are able to easy rekt midgar zolom. which everyone can do.
