I think you'll have to pay the entry fee again. However, GP is needed to save there. If this is your first time there then just keep going until you get to the save point in Corel Prison. It's pretty much your only option unless you go all the way back to the world map via Corel village or spend a bunch of money on Wonder Square mini-games to get GP.

First time you get to Gold Saucer, I'd just do the bare minimum and get on with the story. You can return there later - some rewards only turn up later in the game, and the prices for the rewards you can get early will be reduced then, too. On top of that, you have more time to save up the GIl to buy the special ticket so you can enter for free from then on.

I think if you do try to leave the receptionist at the entrance will warn you about your ticket expiring.

You can buy a life time ticket for 30,000 gil that never expires though.
