Barret is not black!

so i was checking my characters in the game menu and i noticed barrets in-game portrait, and he actually looks like a dark skinned asian guy, not black.

notice how he has straight hair, slanted eyes, a small-ish pointed nose, and his head shape looks more asian-ish.

it makes sense that he would actually be asian instead of black, since the game is japanese. but i wonder why they straight up made him a black guy in the every other portrayal of him after ff7? what do you think?

its not nationality , its their skin color/race.
its not fair to have a character, who is originally a certain race, be changed to a completely different one, due to ignorance or some other insidious marketing scheme.
