Final Boss, I'm stuck
I've got to the final boss i can do the first phase fine but when he turns into a god that's when i get stuck, my party is all level 61 i got all their final limits and weapons, except omi slash and have stocked up on phoenix tails and ethers and i have 21 x potions but what happens is that in the fight i get into a cycle of reviving my characters and desperately trying to heal them back up rinse and repeat, especailly when he makes you into a frog and small, I'm so stuck and it crashed when i was kinda getting close so has anyone got any advice?

Use Ribbon(s) and White Cape so you don't get turned into a frog. You should probably use revive materia instead of Phoenix because 'Life2' spell will revive your character with full health. Other than that use your most powerful summons and you should be fine.

here's what i did ribbons is a good idea so is white cape i also used 1 character for healing. cures, mega elixers. you can get 100 of them using the w-item. and powering up the knights of the round on the other 2 you can also have auto life set up on your character. it comes in handy. this is how i beat the 2 toughest weapons in the game. you probebly know but there is a way to get omnislash before you take him on.

You're probably missing some good quality materias like "double cut" or summon knights of the round, also HP Plus might help. Equiping you a lot of magic materia will lower your HP and attack power, be sure to only have the materias you need. Having Deathblow on Tifa's with God's hand can be usefull. Also be sure to have Cloud's Ultimate Weapon.

It should not be that hard finishing Sephirot, but last time encounter it at full level 99 and all materias level up...

Glad you were able to finish this game! Final Fantasy 7 has bar none one of my favourite endings ever.

Ribbons aren't sold in shops. They're found in various chests around the world or you can morph Master Tonberries into them.

FF9 also has a good ending, too, if you haven't played through that one. FF8 has a great story but the ending isn't "amazing" compared to the rest of the story, but has some really nice tie together of certain story threads and logic twists.

If I'm being honest, FF8 had the most memorable ending to me with FF9 being a close second.
