Having a hard time modding final fantasy 7

Okay so I downloaded all the remako files and the 7th heaven files on my pc. But when I started my steam version of final fantasy 7. The backgrounds were still crappy. Should I reinstall my copy of final fantasy 7 or did i do something wrong

i use the 7th heaven application to launch the game if you run the game through steam it just has everything unmoded.

Okay I tried that but 7th heaven said this "OS does not support auto mounting virtual disc. You must mount a virtual disc named FF7DISC1.ISO, insert a USB flash drive named FF7DISC1, or rename a Hard Drive to FF7DISC1 ...

I just didn't bother with 7th heaven and modded remako and reuinion

Well i need the backgrounds to look nice, they look terriable in the default steam setting

Use wincdemu to mount the blank iso. It doesn't like the native windows image mounter.

If you have that much trouble with 7th Heaven, just use Reunion instead. Less customization options but much easier to install.

If you still wish to continue, please read the 7th heaven installation tutorial more carefully, it explains quite clearly how to mount an FF7 iso file, regardless of where you bought the game.
