7th Heaven + Remako mods -- please, please help me
Windows 10
Freshly downloaded/installed FF7
Downloaded and installed 7th Heaven
Downloaded, unzipped, and imported high res texture mods to 7th Heaven

Opened game -- error -- nothing installed -- please insert disc.

There is not, and never was a "disc".

What do I do?

Okay, I made progress in the sketchiest way possible. I went into the "C" drive, and literally copied the contents of the entire game folder, and pasted it into the same folder that 7th Heaven made on a separate drive. Then launched. And it worked!

However... it's a small screen. Any idea how to fix that?

So... one of the things that 7th Heaven needs to do is, essentially, convert FFVII into a different, disk-based version.

So in order to properly run 7th Heaven, you need to trick your computer into thinking it has a disk of FFVII. Options are:
1. mount a dummy file to a virtual drive.
2. rename a drive you already have to the name of the disk
3. use a different mod loader. (as of now, there is a glorious number of... two.)

There are two ways of fixing this.

A: The simple way. Launch the game through 7th Heaven. the latest version *should* mount a drive automatically for you.

B: the Manual way. Using a software like Daemon Tools, mount the FF7Disk1.ISO file that you can download from This location: https://captrobau.blogspot.com/p/install-guide-ff7-mod-manager.html

change the settings in 7th Heaven

I've looked through every settings option in 7th heaven and I can't find anything that says window size, resolution, full screan mode, -- nothing. If there is another term for getting the game to take up more of my screen than it does, I don't know what it is.

I'm going to try simply changing my desktop resolution to something lower and see if that somehow fixes it in reverse.

Thanks for your time.

Wow I'm such a dope. Thanks. I don't know how I didn't see that... Maybe the use of the word driver threw me off...
