HP/MP plus
How many HP/MP plus materia should I buy?

My goal is to get a "near-perfect" save file. I don't care about the details like missing a couple basic weapons or items and things like that.

I want all the characters including optional, non-main to get 9999HP/MP etc. which is why I'm asking. I looked up a tutorial and it said to get 3 of each and also someone else commented MP plus is going to be useless later so maybe get 1/2 since you can use summons.

How many should I buy? My funds aren't that high atm.

At the moment I'm thinking 3 HP and 1/2 MP.

3 hp plus enough for winning against emerald and ruby weapon. i never use any mp plus materia for my playthrough.

you don't even need mp plus to be honest

hp plus also isn't required (i've beaten both weapons with cloud having ~4900 hp and the rest ~6000, but it's a bit more difficult), but if you're feeling unsure, grab 3 of them for each party member, or 1 for your powerhouse/summoner party member
