Anyone else is having trouble with the online profile from ff7 ? connection is not possible for me :/

I've have the same issue. mine will go to the menu, but then I get an error about it FFVII.exe stopped working.

yes you can play without it (you can start the launcher and go to settings - network and disable cloud saving.

But you must backup your saves manually if you disable it
