What is the Cheat Codes section all about?

I don't want to cheat yet (if ever), but what will this do, and how will the cheat codes be discovered?

The Cheat Codes are hidden in plain sight somewhere around the game. They do various things at the beginning of the game, starting with extra gold, fame or starting with unique items for example.

Keep an eye out for them! Although they are kindof hard to see...

Not true. I can post them if you'd like. I am aware of fourteen of them, but perhaps someone could highlight any I missed. Haven't used them though, as they all make the game easier rather than harder.

By the way, the codes that involve spaces...I'm not having any success typing spaces in the code box (copy pasting doesn't work either). So I've only gotten a couple of them to actually register.

First thing I checked was the Credits. Right after that, I went to the new in-game PDF link (eww, PDF). The list was fairly obvious to me, I just didn't know I should be looking for it until this thread was posted.

@Astrifer: A little change was made, make sure ALL CHEATS ARE ENTERED WITHOUT SPACES or the codes won't work.

Any chance you can add cheat codes that make the game harder in ways as well?

@Dread moose: Well, yesterday we added another difficulty mode (Nightmare) that unlocks after a successful run at Hard. I cannot promise it at this point, but Cheat Codes to make it tougher might come in the future via an update. It's certainly not a bad idea.

Working on getting that token Hard clear now (had saves from .999 and 1.0 that each time were recommended to restart by new updates, so haven't actually finished a full run lately). Silver League Trimester 2 just started, and I'm tech level 10 with right around 10k lifetime fame (2.4k in current league with second at ~800, though I've already started stealing once a turn since my third party went operational). Hopefully 1.2 won't come out in the next couple of days, and I'll see what Nightmare is like.

I'm in autopilot at this point, main party can auto-win Difficulty 7 and is near max level, the other three parties have no trouble taking out 7 and lower, which is pretty much every mission save one or two factions right now. Frankly I'm bored at this point with the run, but I want the unlock and want to see how the endgame has changed.

I literally can't spend the Fame on theft fast enough.
