castle dragon

How do I unlock the door to get to the castle dragon (deadly dragon)? I've looked for keys or clues in game. I've tried searching through the discussion board, but I haven't found any clues. I've got the airship town guy in my party now, and I figure now's as good as any time to fight a boss dragon. But I can't get past the locked door. I can see the dragon doing it's thing and all beyond the door, but I can't get in. What am I missing here? Is it some secret that players are supposed to discover on their own?

In the first floor of Windir's castle (=deadly dragon castle) is a box on the top left side of the 1st floor with a lighter in it. When you gathered the lighter you can go to the top right side - there is a candle holder which can be lighted by the lighter. Then read the book on the table - there is a key inside if i remember correctly.

Btw: I think the dragon is still too hard to beat. I have 3 characters now and I am still struggeling. Check this guide, if you don't know where to go: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=609045254
It helped me a lot. Ok the guide says, that the key is on a table on the top right ;)

I already did all that. The key wasn't in there. I just wandered around a lot, clicking on everything, and I found the key on a table by the fireplace. But I'll probably use that guide for the dragon. I've heard it'll be tough. Thanks.

Botrtom left corner of the Windir's Castle map (1st Floor), there is a table with a glittering twinkle. That's the Iron Key to open the door.
