RIFT

Is it me or this game is boring?
Hello there,
As I wanted to play a game that would be popular closely to WoW, I tried Rift.
The very beggining was boring because of the playing system - hit the skill button, wait until the skill will be casted. Little later I even started to like this game, but as I went through, I felt like a ball pushed further. Finished my playing at 12 lvl, didn't see any main city (or maybe that big castle was the first main city). What's more, the locations and environment looks little like in Metin 2. Ofcourse, Rift has got a lot better graphic, but I feel like on a big desert.
So I gave a shot to this game, it's even ok, but playing system is little boring to me.
How to convice myself to this game? Or maybe it's pointless?

If someone asks, I played Diablo 2 (great), Vindictus (great), Diablo 3 (ok), PoE (ok-little boring), Dekaron (great but too much of grinding), Metin 2 (boring). Those are my opinions so Yours can differ :)

The game bored me all the way until I got to raiding. That's when it got really fun for me.

I definitely don't find this game engaging enough (yet) to play all by myself.

Things are more interesting when you play together.

I suggest trying something new.

RIFT bored me quite alot, and i could never get passed the bad combat animations in the game. I stopped it in my very first day.

And after experiencing ArcheAge, and what Trion has done to me (and thousands upon thousands others apparently) aka randomly ban me from the game for absolutely no reason whatsoever, im sure as hell not touching anything by them again, RIFT included.

Last couple MMOs i can say i had a good time and got somewhat invested in were AION before the pay2win ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, and TERA. And im personally not even into the whole asian themed thing and 6 year olds running around in short skirts lol, but i enjoyed them still.

I still play it, why I don't know. It's a badly made WOW clone. Boring game, overpriced content, and random bans (I was banned for a month with no explanation, no help, and no appology.) I am really beggining to hate Trion. I won't tough anything by them again.

Yeah it's totally boring at the beginning. It is a MMO though so try to make some friends or find a guild. You wanna play with people not around them. If you can bring a friend IRL onto the game to play with you they've got a sweet recruitment system that gets you all kinds of goodies. So you can get stuff and have someone to play with. Once you get like 15 I'd reccomend hitting up the warfronts for some pvp action. You can make plenty of plat and exp in there. Also if you wanna grind for exp do Instant Adventures. It's boring as hell, but as you get higher in level the better the game gets. ^.^ As for people having these issues with trion support... I've been playing rift for well over 2 years now and trove for about a year. (I played the alpha because they kindly gave me a alpha key.) I've never had any issues with support. They've always handled things in a timely and professional matter. I dunno why it varys so much. Some people have nothing but good to say, and others full out wanna murder them. In the end rift could just not be your game. I'm no doctor though ^.^

I think I'm just burned out with the game after playing it for 5 years but the last time I logged in it seems to have gotten even more bland. I don't like the direction the devs are taking it recently either.
Just move to GW2 if you are bored. That's what I did.

That's exactly what I did last month. No regrets.

I am level 63 always play solo except for instant adventures and Chronicles. I don't find it boring especially once level 50 is reached. I do switch games every few days between Guild Wars 2 , Archage, neverwinter and plan on buying Elderscroll online in mid March when it goes free to play after purchase of Game. I enjoy Archage it is a gorgeous eye candy game also, but I hate being forced into PVP, I hate PVP and in Rift only play PVE

I can't stand the combat in rift. There's a massive amount of choice regarding the skill tree, but none of it looks or feels any good or different. Terrible animations and spell effects. Jack of all trades, master of none.
