Windows 10 ??

I installed windows 10 and i cant seem to get the game to launch ive tryed compatibility for win 8 and 7 but nothing anybody have any ideas

This explains so much. Although I can admit Im mad about it, I fully understand why. Honestly Im just going to restore my pc to windows 8 just to play rift again.

Hello, I was able to get Rift running on my laptop with the latest build of Windows 10 9926.
My laptop is about 5 years old. i7 1.66, Nvidia 230M and 4GB ram.

I have a PC running Windows 10 also. Thou, Rift just crashes after clicking play. This PC is running i7 4790K, nVidia GTX 780 OC and 16GB ram.

I am still trying to get Rift to run on the PC ....

Windows 10 has been really stable, every title i own runs great.

Im guessing its not a Windows 10 error after all, possibly hardware related?

Hit me up with your system specs!

Rift is the only game thats not running with windows 10......

You are running it at your own risk. No guarantee any game will run on an OS currently unreleased. It has nothing to do with specs.

Moron, did you read my post? I have 2 completely different setups. Both running windows 10. Rift will run on one setup and not on the other.

Both setups of mine have a 5 year gap in technology, the older technology runs Rift perfectly.

Here is what I did to fix it on my computer and another person's. Go to Trion's website and install their launcher, then play through that. I don't know if that'll work for everyone but it worked for me. Hope it helps
