Cannot log into my old account on Rift because Glyph login is taking precedent

I couldn't post this on the Trion Rift forums because they are assuming I don't have a character over level 10. LOLOLOL 398 hours of play... Why is that? Well, because I had been trying out playing Archeage and thus created a Glyph account, which all happened well before I made the clever decision to reinstall Rift and play again.

While I can still initiate a launch from Steam, the Glyph launcher pops up and requests that I log in through that to proceed, which of course takes me to a pristine Trion version, with no characters, and no option to change the login.

I did open up a ticket with Trion. But just in case they run me through a ping pong match for a week or so, does anyone have a fix, already? I didn't even get to resubmit my serial code through Steam because of the Glyph launcher.

Steam should launch Glyph which will run updates. Personally I uninstalled Rift via Steam and re-installed Rift using the individual download, I was tired of waiting for Steam and Glyph to update themselves.

Only way I know of to fix the auto login is to uninstall glyph and hope it doesn't uninstall any of your games, then reinstall it, once it prompts you for your account don't save the password or the account.

Glyph is used to login to all trion's games no matter what account you're using.

I figured it out. The confusion was that it was using my forum ID for the log in instead of my SteamID (like it used to). Now I feel like I have Trion accounts all over the place (me, my husband, my daughter, and now the "old" Rift account).
