Can't buy credits

Anyone else having problems with buyign credits using your steam wallet? There is no option for it anymore.

looks ok to me i didn't buy anything but i see the option. do you have steam wallet funds and are you logging in threw steam and not just the glyph client?

Yes I am launching RIFT via stea in my library.

when you buy something steam funds "should" be one of the payment options. i just tryed it so if its not there you may have to open a ticket.

yes. only thing i can think that would effect this would be steam guard. steam isn't restricting your trading ability is it? it'll lock you down for a few days if your on a new device or if you disabled steam guard in the last 10-15 days.

How would I chec kif I disabled steam guard?

should be in the steam guard options also you could see if you can buy from the steam market. the sell/buy button will be dim and unclickable if your locked out.

No it seems fine, When i'm in game it just says Click to add new payment options mastercard paypal etc no drop box for steam walletr anymore q.q

As long as you're using a the Steam Rift copy it should work, you should also know that it only works when your account balance has the displayed amount or higher not a Credt Card.

If you're trying to use a Credit Card via Steam then you also have to add the Credit Card to you Rift account for security purposes.

I've used a Steam Card though to make purchases via Steam Wallet with no issues what-so-ever there will be about a 30 second delay when buying credits, DO NOT CLOSE THE WINDOW just WAIT the payment will process.

I have added 25$ to my steam account via credit card, So does that mean i have t oadd the info to my rift account to use my steam wallet? o.O

Another thing to try is to make sure you allow the steam overlay while in game. You can find this in settings. choose in game, then check the box.

if the cradits are in steam wallet. all you need to do is to play rift on steam and when you buy something "steam funds" should be in the drop box. after you hit buy the steam overlay will popup and then final you'll be asked to confirm the purchase.

Thats the thing "steam funds" are not in the drop box only my credit card i just put on there anyone else have the issue? I want to use up this money on my steam wallet. And yes steam overlay is checked.

I did some looking around an it seems there's a glitch/bug on the Steam copy of Rift:

- In order to buy credits via Steam for Rift you have to use a Steam Card.

- In order to buy credits via Trion for Rift you have to use a Credit Card/Paypal.

See, the trion system will think that if your wallet says "$0.00" then you have no money in your account reguardless of weither or not you have a Credit Card or Paypal attached to your Steam account.

Ohh thats why it wont let me use it, I am not sure why it's doing it now it was working when i put money on my steam wallet via credit card before i opened up a ticket hopefully someone gets back to me soon. :/
