LifeGiving(Bound) Veil
I've decided to play around with Chloromancer; and currently I'm dealing with LifeGiving (and Bound) Veil. I solo; w/Pet, but it 'Appears' that these Life Veils do not heal pets. Is this correct or am I doing something wrong?

Note: I have the Veil Buff activated (I tried both); I allow my pet to take a beating (poor guy) and then I begin casting Damaging Spells on the whomever he's fighting (I believe that's the way it suppose to work) and he doesn't seem to heal.

So again... am I missing a bigger picture; or are these Veils for Groups only???

Advanced Thanx!!!

P.S. I'm aware that Synthesis is apart of all of this... but I'm hoping to get clarification before I spend any points on Synthesis; but if that's the missing piece... let me know.

Once more; Advance Thanx for any Enlightenment (smile)

going by this, it should heal your pet too, did you check the combat log, to see if there is no healing at all going on, or if the healing is just too low?

changed the suggest build a bit, maybe use Bloom for some direct healing instead?

Or what about using Soul Purge to keep your pet alive?

Chloromancer's Lifegiving Veil and Lifebound Veil does not heal pets. You can, however, heal them with active healing spells.

@Logan: As always... Thanx for your input. I actually already have a good mage for Soloing... Unfortunately I'm attempting to find new build that works for my play style (and to create something new (grin)); and it doesn't include a Necromancer (Sadly - LOL). I'm using Elementalist, but not as the main, and the Pet heal doesn't come until 20 pts in (Technically 21) Thus far it's really not an issue; but I know it will be, Very Soon!!! I have, however, set up a Pet Bloom Macro; but it's a little too little too late. Ultimately this build may simply just not work.

@Hyphixsys: That's what I needed to know... Thanx for the Bad News - LOL. Seriously... Appreciate it!!! I am currently relying "Heavily" on the active healing spells; but I'm hoping at higher levels they are going to Heal for a HECK of a lot more (worried look - LOL).

Thank you both for your help... I may have to seriously re-work this theory, but at least now I can kind of see my weaknesses a bit more clearly :(.
