i use the TV view just above the drivers helmet when you see the flying lap for pole , i suppose the more realistic view is in the cockpit , but for me you cant see the track you have to be really on your game to do that

I don't know why, but I used offset TV-cam in most games.

But I started using cockpit view after playing Project CARS and Assetto Corsa.

It somehow gives me a better feeling for traction at corner exits

cockpit is harder to see the track i think especially in the virtual environment, in real life you can look around easier but in a virtual environment its not so natural of course!, the tv view just above the drivers head feels more natural

Cockpit view answers both questions. There is nothing realistic about any other view :D

I tried to use cockpit view but my (real life) wheel obscures the LCD display. So I'm using T-cam instead.

Cockpit camera moves left/right way too much even if you have the camera movement set to zero :P
