Team Communication During Race?

just bought this awesome Sim. so far im loving it. however I am having issues with few things,. when they ask me a Question over the radio, how do I respond back? is it voice through my Microphone? I have a G27 wheel and my buttons are mapped as fallowed. DRS, MFD scroll, then other 4 are up/dwn,left.right in MFD mode.

whatever button you have to press to "speak" like when you ask about driver in froont behind etc, you press taht then choose your response

You have to press the radio button, then you can either use your DPAD to select the phrase you want OR speak into your microphone and say the phrase you want.

Pressing (2) which is X in the game, but Square in my wheel only makes the radio KRRSHH sound or whatever. I cannot get the actual list anyway. And they don't reach to any speech commands I give.
