Career mode, contract offer?

Hey,
So I just finished my first season but haven''t received an offer. So im wondering how does it work? with contracts and team switches and etc.

I'm still in the middle of my first seasson (Sochi) but I think you need to beat a rival from other team. In F1 2013 it was that and also based on your perfomance you could receive offers

I started at Renault. First season i got 4 contract offers (Renault, Force India, Toro Rosso and McLaren) after silverstone. Or was it hungary... Cant remember exactly... After last race i got same offers by same teams... So i stayed at Renault

I won the German Grand Prix with McLaren and I'm the third on the WDC but I didn't get offers so far :/

I beat all my rivals and got most of the podiums and I was asking same thing, where as the usual post Silverstone or so contract offers? I only received that option at the end of last race for new season which obviously kinda blows if you just wanna move on mid season. But I'll just keep developing car for now and hopefully next season I get some mid season.

Started new career at Ferrari. After Silverstone won almost every race and didnt get offers. What teams you guys drive? I drove Renault 3 seasons and got offers right after silverstone and abu dhabi every year... is it bugged/broken after the patches? Or could it be like this, you get offers faster if you drive slower teams?

I think in your case you only receive offers that suit you. If you are already driving for a top team there are fewer or no opportunities to move up.

I think in your case you only receive offers that suit you. If you are already driving for a top team there are fewer or no opportunities to move up.

There aren't any contract offers once you move up to the top teams, you have to get fired to move from the top teams, I hope they add contract expirations in the next career mode but I am not complaining this has been the most immersive Career mode in the past 3 years

Not true, I'm at Mercedes and got a contract offer to join Red Bull, Ferrari or Williams

I am stuck at the Mercedes too. I was hoping to switch to Ferrari or RedBull but no offers have been made to me for three whole seasons. I was champ with Merc after season one, at the end of the season I didn't get any offers, so I was waiting for the mid season contract event. Nothing. I finished the season again to see what happens. Nothing. Contract offers, stuck in Mercedes for the third season.
