F1 2016 Logitech Formula Ex Setup/Settings
I can't seem to setup this wheel properly. It works superb on f1 2013, assetto corsa, project cars, iRacing... I see it is on the list of suported wheels, but I can't get the settings right.

When I enter a tight corner/shicane it just feels like there is no ffb and on straights it is just uncontrollable. It is either shaking like crazy at high speeds making it jump from left to right, or if I turn linearity up it becomes unusable in corners because I have to use like 70% linearity to remove shakiness and super sensitive wheel on straights. But if I add deadzone it makes it snappy and it doesn't feel smooth. I also made f1 profile on logitech profiler but it didn't help. I think the main proplem is with ffb.

So if somebody uses this or similar (180°) wheel please share your setup if you are happy with how the wheel handles. Something that is smooth on straights and precise in corners (duh..).

Some people have posted that the solution to the shaky wheel is to turn on VSync. I've spent most of my time since getting the game trying to get my G27 to work the way I want it to. I found the in-game settings didn't cut it for me. Someone somewhere suggested setting the wheel sensivity in the Logitech profiler to 20%. If you click on the words "Steering Wheel" and then select "Axis Settings," it takes you to another menu where you can change the steering wheel sensitivity. The default is 50%. Note that you can also adjust the Acclerator and Brake pedals here, too. I'm sure you have the same Profiler, so it might be worth a try.

Thank you very much for your reply. I just changed the sensivity in profiler to 25% to see if it works and now I saw you recomanding same solution. Did not know about the vsync one, will try this one as well. Will update if I make it better.

Edit: Much, much better! 25% wheel sensitivity fixed pretty much every problem + if I turn Vsync on it makes a wheel even less shaky. Now with some minor tweaks I will have perfect balance and I will poste my final setting. Thank you very much @cjhilinski for your Vsync suggestion!

LOGITECH PROFILER
You set Global device settings to:
100%
0%
0%
Enable centering spring in ffb games TICKED and set it to 75%
Report combined pedals and allow game to adjust is UNTICKED

ON MAIN PROFILER PAGE you go to steering wheel-axis properties and set sensitivity to 50%, deadzone 0% and range 100% and you calibrate your wheel, then you set sensitivity to 25%.

IN GAME:

ADVANCED WHEEL SETTINGS: Steering linearity to 4 (go higher if you want even less shakines but you will have to rotate the wheel more for initial turn and it becomes wierd/hard to control.

FFB ON (Strenght 100, environmental to 20 and wheel weight to 0%)

This is what works for me. My wheel still shakes on the straights but It is controlable/realistic I guess. The issue is with ffb and the fact that this wheel has 180° of rotation while in game wheel has 360°. I figured out that wheel will always shake due to bad ffb this game has for this particular wheel. If you want less shakines you either have to turn up linearity (or turn down sensitivity in profiler) or turn ffb down to a point that there is no point in having ffb on. Hope codies fix this issue (at least I see it as an issue) because this wheel worked very well with f1 2013. If you have any questions or you find something that works for you or better then my solution please shere it so we help each other out :).
