Having wheel issues? Check in here
We are currently looking at wheel issues, but here are things for you to try if you're having issues:

Logitech G25/27:

· If you use nVidia graphics, uninstall the NVIDIA Geforce Experience. (For now)

· Restart your PC and try to launch the game. It should work right away. If not, try a second launch of the game right after.

If it still doesn't work:

· While in Windows, unplug the wheel.

· Uninstall the Logitech profiler.

· Re-download the Logitech profiler for the G27 and your OS from here: http://support.logitech.com/en_us/product/g27-racing-wheel#download

· Plug in the wheel when the program prompts you to.

· Open the Logitech profiler and go to global device setting, and make sure "report combined pedals" is NOT ticked.

· Set the degrees of rotation to 360 and David Greco has personally recommend using the FFB settings from top to bottom as follow; 100,0,0,0 and Enable Centering Spring in Force Feedback Games make sure is NOT ticked.

Logitech G29/920:

· While in Windows, unplug the wheel.

· Uninstall the Logitech Profiler.

· Re-download the Logitech profiler for the G29 or G920 and your OS from here:

o G29 http://support.logitech.com/en_us/product/g29-driving-force#download

o G920 http://support.logitech.com/en_us/product/g920-driving-force#download

· Plug in the wheel when the program prompts you to.

· Update the firmware if the Logitech software asks you.

· If you use nVidia graphics, uninstall the NVIDIA Geforce Experience. (For now)

· Reboot your PC and try to launch the game. It should work right away. If not, try a second launch of the game right after.

Thrustmaster wheels and any wheel in supported list come up as unrecognized:

· Always make sure you have latest drivers and firmware.

· If you use nVidia graphics, uninstall the NVIDIA Geforce Experience. (For now)

· Reboot your PC and try to launch the game. It should work right away. If not, try a second launch of the game right after.

Hi guys,

I've tried everything which was officially suggested but re-installing my Win10... still there are no real FFB effects (actually wheel weight!) with my G29.

More precisely

- if I set the "Centering Spring" in Logitech Gaming Software then it works within the game, but of course it is a cheat, since it is not controlled by the game and the feeling is far from perfect
- The "Vibration" effects (in-game setting) seem working, like the crashes and the rumble when I go off track
- BUT... the "Force Feedback" effects seem completely ineffective, particularly the setting "wheel weight" does absolutely nothing, and it is extremely annoying since it is supposed to give the 80% of that "F1 car feeling" I purchased this game and my G29 for in the first plase.

I'm pretty sure that it is a bug, since it is absolutely perfect in Project Cars and in other games.

Please advise!

I also same problem!!

The weight of the steering wheel (Force Feedback) is zero. Sometimes it works, with plug in/out the usb, uninstall and Install LGS....but I haven't found a solution.

The problem and appeared a month. Maybe some update of Windows 10?

With Project Cars and Assetto Corsa, no problem!

Solve the problem please!!!

PS

"HAPPY NEW YEAR!!"

Ok, I saw no other option so reinstalled my Windows 10 only with the NVidia drivers (without the Geforce Experience, just to be on the safe side...), the Logitech Gaming Software... and it WORKS! No idea what caused the problem however.

Hello, recently I have bought a speedlink blackbolt racing wheel, but there is no force feedback at all when I play the game. The wheel has the xinput and directinput option. When I use the xinput option there is a vibration when I brake and turn, but the wheel is not responsive enough and it is very difficult to drive ( It recognizes it as a gamepad for some reason ) . When I switch to directinput mode, the wheel recognizes it as a Blackbolt and I can adjust all the settings properly ( including force feedback ) and the ffb works in the control panel. However, when I play the game, it doesn't.The ffb and vibration settings are not grayed out in the game, so I can adjust it, however it doesn't do anything different, the ffb still doesn't work. Any solutions?

Select your steering wheel as the controller and set the throttle and brake in there. It will recognize your pedals.

I use a Thrustmaster TMX. Every time I leave the pit lane and the first meters on the track, the game no longer recognizes my steering wheel settings. Do not steer the steering wheel properly.
Only when I have called the menu without something to change and then close the menu again, my old steering wheel settings are recognized and resumed. This is only since Patch1.08, I have the feeling. Even though I am after the box in a "fast round" I have the same problem.

Thx Chocolatelips :F1fuel:

how to set up the accelerator for G29? the car always move auto.

G29 iussue..look to ensure the pedals are separate in game assuming u play project cars. Make sure the button on top of wheel is clicked to right and make sure you load the Logitech gaming software. The G29 is not customised for PC tso you have to follow certain steps. Once done all ok. My squence is..switch on the electric lead, plug usb, load the gaming software...then in game just calibrate

I tried using F1 2015 profile and it somehow works for G29 wheel .. do try that

Various Wheels with various complaints all pointing to incorrect settings and configs for most wheels owned by racers. Having F 2016 for a while I have not played the game much at all..not even raced one race.. because my Thrustmasters T300 w/F1 Ferraria add-on is far to sensitive to steer the car down the track never mind oversteer or understeering on the corners. I have tried many, many settings and the best setting I have now is zero set settings but even that is no good. Hence the game is no good to me because steering control is all that really matters..right? C'mon guys just fix steering setup to work for all these experinced racers or stop selling the F1 games. Don't bother fixing the bugs because we can't drive in this game anyway. I drive holding the wheel as steady as I can but when correcting steering for track-line the smallest adjustment steers me to far left or right..compensating then will steer me off the track. Its not the acceleration or braking causing this either or my wheel because 20 odd other racing games work beautifully including force feed back..fixx the game dudes !!
