I've tried everything which was officially suggested but re-installing my Win10... still there are no real FFB effects (actually wheel weight!) with my G29.
More precisely
- if I set the "Centering Spring" in Logitech Gaming Software then it works within the game, but of course it is a cheat, since it is not controlled by the game and the feeling is far from perfect
- The "Vibration" effects (in-game setting) seem working, like the crashes and the rumble when I go off track
- BUT... the "Force Feedback" effects seem completely ineffective, particularly the setting "wheel weight" does absolutely nothing, and it is extremely annoying since it is supposed to give the 80% of that "F1 car feeling" I purchased this game and my G29 for in the first plase.
I'm pretty sure that it is a bug, since it is absolutely perfect in Project Cars and in other games.
Please advise!
The weight of the steering wheel (Force Feedback) is zero. Sometimes it works, with plug in/out the usb, uninstall and Install LGS....but I haven't found a solution.
The problem and appeared a month. Maybe some update of Windows 10?
With Project Cars and Assetto Corsa, no problem!
Solve the problem please!!!
PS
"HAPPY NEW YEAR!!"
Ok, I saw no other option so reinstalled my Windows 10 only with the NVidia drivers (without the Geforce Experience, just to be on the safe side...), the Logitech Gaming Software... and it WORKS! No idea what caused the problem however.
Select your steering wheel as the controller and set the throttle and brake in there. It will recognize your pedals.
Only when I have called the menu without something to change and then close the menu again, my old steering wheel settings are recognized and resumed. This is only since Patch1.08, I have the feeling. Even though I am after the box in a "fast round" I have the same problem.
Thx Chocolatelips
+1 the deadzone is horrible...
