DRS
Can someone explain to me why the DRS mostly the time doesn't even turn on?
I know how the DRS works,so when the DRS is ready to use I press my DRS button and sometimes works and then half way the wing just closes.
Then even during the race if I'm half a second beyond the car in front I go to press the DRS and the wing still doesn't open where I'm in the DRS zone.
I'm a bit lost why this is happening.

DRS automatically turns off upon braking.

It's likely that your brake is an analog device that doesn't always stay in perfect 0-position all the time.

You can try applying a small dead zone to the brakes.

Yes I can try that but it's not like I'm even braking,I'm going full throttle and I look to my rear wing and the damn wing it's close, and like I mention mostly of the times doesn't even engage.

Doesn't matter, if the brake is at 1% it turns off. I had this problem with a controller once in 2014, reinstalling driver helped in my case though.

of course it only works if you're within 1 second behind the driver in front of you at the detection point but I assume you knew that.

Yes, it happens to me too. I'm in free practice, I enter the DRS zone, I press the button, the DRS opens ... to immediately close in the middle of the straight, whith throtle pedal 100% full!!. It's frustrating. I thought it might be a problem with my steering wheel, but I've seen more people that happens the same. It's a Bug. I hope they fix it soon.

It's not a bug, it's your input device. Apply a small dead zone to the brakes if possible and you'll see it goes away.

Gonna try it when I get home.

I'll try it. Thank you for the information.

I'd also try reinstalling drivers, recalibrating and cleaning the pedals

I think this is not blame of pedals. Even if I change the "inactive braking zone" to 80% (!), DRS continues closing. I am more convinced that it is a bug. The game was working well for me until I installed the latest patch. My steering wheel is well calibrated, and drivers are actualized. I have a Driving Force GT.

Thank you for all.

Same here man.
I'll give it a try but I think it's a bug to.
