F1 2016 running on new M1 chip from Apple

Just to inform you guys that I just run the game in my new MacBook Pro 13 with the new M1 chip and the game runs awesome! And with the PS4 controller too!
My machine is the new Macbook Pro 13'' with Apple M1 chip with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of SSD. This is a great machine for gaming! Truly great experience with this machine in this F1 game. Congrats.

Yeah you are right mate, a 5 year game! I just bought it because the low price and because is compatible with MacOS.

And for a game of that age, running so great on the new M1 chip is incredible and proves that Apple is on the correct way to take the crown from Intel and AMD.

Hi ...M1 Mac Mini, I have problem with the PS4 gamepad, it works with other game but not with the F1 2016 ...did you get connected out of the box or with some settings?

In my case I connected the PS4 controller via Steam configurations and everything went well. I'm actually with that game unistalled but the I remembered that sometimes the game doesn't recognize the controller well and I struggle a lot to correct that.

Hi thezemax, great to hear that you are enjoying the F1 game on M1 Mac. Do you face any overheating issues or fans spinning fast while playing the game? I have a M1 Pro with 8GB of RAM and am planning to buy this game.

Since I have the M1 Macbook Pro and with Temp Monitor when I game, I always turn on the vents - in that program you can control the speed of vents. And yes turning that on the PC goes into 38 to 44 degrees celsius when playing.
This is one of the few games that I installed on my Mac I really enjoy it, truly recommend!
