F1 2016 PC executable not working
I just purchased the game, installed the whole lot. So far so good. Than I want to start the game via my Steam account, however I do receive the message " the F1 2016 executable is not working anymore ". I already removed and re-installed the game. Still the same (neon) error message. Anyone able to help me.

I can honestly say to you don't bother asking.....
I have had an R6025 message from day one despite installing the game into differerent drives to see if that had an effect but no luck.
Codemasters should hang their heads in shame that you can't even get the basics right.
I will never buy another codemasters game again.
If anybody has a solution for the R6025 crash then it would be truly appreciated

lolschrauber I have checked the windows event log but to be honest Idon't know what I'm looking for. Did you want me to post it for you to view?
Was that the intent of your original post???

well you could always try to google parts of it, which I what I usually do, it you can post it here of course, maybe we can see something there.

alternatively, you can always try verifying the game files or reinstalling first. Maybe you're missing a software requirement that wasn't installed properly on first launch.

R6025 error seems to be related to visual c++ which is what a lot of games try to install. Maybe you can install the latest version manually and get it to work.

(Microsoft visual C++ redistributable)

I'm not sure which one I have right now, I think deleting some game files and verifying will trigger a new installation of the prerequisites upon starting the game.

I fixed my issue. Turned off SMT on my AMD 2950x threadripper. Simultaneous Multi Threading. :)
