Tyre and Brake Temperature Management
Now, I know we can monitor our tyre and brake temperatures using the MFD, and I'm aware that spinning up the rears or locking the front tyres absolutely blows up the tyre temperature, thereby decreasing your traction. But. When driving normally, I never have to worry about tyre temperature being too low (except if the SC is out) since they warm up pretty damn fast and brake temperatures never seem to be an issue.

Does anyone actually find the temperatures to be a problem?

tbh i dont think that the temperatures are simulated properly. the influence of temperatures for the tyre wear is way lower than it was the case in 15 game. imo a backstep. don't waste too much time in studying tyre temperatures. as long as you race clean your tyre wear won't be too high. it's as easy and simple as it sounds.

I usually don't have a problem with wear, but was a bit curious about temps since they added it but do so little with them.

did you play the 15 game? you have seen in every corner how the temp comes into the tyres, each of them. in rainy conditions you have seen how cold the tyres were which indicated when you have to change. all is gone in 16 game. i dont understand why.

I'm afraid I haven't played 15 and unless I can get it for a few quid, I doubt I ever will (althought the 2014 season mode is quite appealing). Only experience with F1 games are 05 (PS2) and 09 (Wii) >.>, along with 16

its worth a try you still can refund before 2h of gameplay. the only thing is the minimal game modi and the a bit more casual gameplay on the track. but its quite similar to 16, just easier to handle.
