F1 2016
Tyre Temperature
Back in F1 2010 it happened to me that the tyres ran to hot and I had to take it easy for a while to cool them down.
Or the tyres were to cold and I had to work hard to get them up to temperature.

But with this game ... they are in optimal temperature all the time.
Sure they are a little bit cold after a pit stop, but I have to do nothing and they are at optimal temperature really fast all by themselve.

And so far, I never had them running to hot.

I kinda miss managing the temperatures. (And I think it was muc hmore fun than managing the tyre wear.)

Your thoughts?

I'm not talking about how long tyres last but how your driving style can influence their temperature.
I don't mind having to deal with safety cars, virtual safety cars or technical defects every now and then, and I wouldn't mind hearing "Your tyres/breaks are running a little bit to hot. Take it easy the next couple of laps." every now and then.

I wonder why there is even a hud menu that is monitoring the tyre and break temperature if they are ALWAYS at optimal temperature, no matter how you drive.
(Besides being cold for a few corners after a pit stop.)

I'm not talking about the current rules of F1, and all the "everything used to be better" nostalgia bs, but about the features and mechanisms of the game.

I thought this was WAY better in 2015. Though that doesn't work too well with controllers.

I liked a lot of features from 2015(hated the game overall for its lack of content) and the tyre wear and temperature was definitely one of them. One things I noticed is in 15 when you break heavily after a long straight, you visibly see your tyres increase in temperature due to the brakes getting hot. I believe this was taken out in 16 as I don't see my tyres heating up more than 1 degree under heavy braking.
